It is reported from' Stockholm' that tho .Swedish authorities, have arrescea on tho Finnish frontier four persons, led by a German, who wore attempting to smuggle nitro-glycerine and other explosives., arms, and ammunition in a sleieh across tho border, apparently for the mirppse of blowing up Russian ammunition depots. At- tho distribution'of certificates at the Crystal Palace School of Practical Engineering Mr. A. T. Walmisloy (engineer to tho Dover-Harbour Board) said that 250 old studoats of tho school were now serving with Hie Majesty's Foroes.
