B.M.A. CONFERS WITH MINISTERS. Representatives of the British' Medical Association had interviews yesterday with the Minister of Public Health (the Hon. G. W. Russell) and the Minister of Defence (the.Hon. Sir James Allen) regarding the supply of doctors for military and civil duty. Speaking of the meetings last ovening, Sir James Allen said that it was the desire of the British Medical Association to lielp the Government in every possible way with the organisation of the medical services; As to what would be done he was not then jn a position to say v The defence Department was primarily concerned .with the keeping up of the supply of doctore for the Reinforcements, and the \Publio Health Department had to see that doctors should be on. hand to look after the health of the civil population. The matter was one for arrangement with, the B.M.A. by the Defence Depart'menfc and the Public Health Department.
