WHEN SUNK BY GERMAN RAIDER. By, Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, April 26. ■ Tho New Zealand Skipping Company Las received advice- from London that the steamer Otaki, which was sunk on March 10. by an . enemy raider, was commanded by Captain A. 8.. Smith, who had associated with him the following officers:—Mr. R. H. L. M'Nish, chief; Mr. H. M. Wood, second; Mr. E. P. Pattenden, third; Mr. J. JGoldfinch, fourth. The engineers on board were: Mr. G. Wilson, chief; Mr. W. A'. Thompson, second; Mr. A. H. Xittle, third; Mr. H. Somerville, fourth; Mr. J. Clyne, fifth; Mr. L. C. Smart, sixth; Mr. I. Maclean, chief refrigerating engineer; and Mr. C. Lancaster, second refrigerating- engineer. . ■ " . Mri?'
