PETONE A BECORD POLL There was a record poll in Petone Borough, owing, it is said, to the live interest in the Mayoral election and the half-holiday issue. The Saturday half-holiday was really carried by Lower Hutt. In the final result Saturday won by 230 votes, but in Petone there was a majority of 135 for Wednesday.
