The fortnightly meeting of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. was held, last J evening. Mr. F. Meadowcroft presided over a fair attendance. The Inspector reported having successfully dealt with a numbor of cases during the past fortnight. The following subscriptions were acknowledged:—llr. Justice Cooper, C. E.
