MAGISTRATE'S COURT
VARIOUS OFFENCES. , Messrs. 11. D. Hanlon and I. Salek, J.P.'s, presided over a sitting of the Magistrate's Court yesterday morning. For insobriety, Annabella, Swanson was fined 10s., and Alfred Harris and Thomas O'Brien were each fined 20s. Bernard Kronion, who had been found in a state of helpless at Carterton, was ordered to pay medical expenses amounting to 235. -The alternative in all of the above cases was .fixed at forty-eight hours' imprisonment. . •■."-•.
Herman Stahl and William Eustori wero each convicted of.insobrioty, and tho use of obscene language. They were ordered to be handed pvor to the proper authorities for.punishment. ■■ Albert Gerald Blanchfiekl, for the commission of an indecent act in Tory Street, was fined 205., in default fortyeight hours'- imprisonment. .- Frederick Wallace was convicted of using obsbene language in Tui Street, and.was fined 205. ; with the option of undergoing forty-eight hours' detention. , ..• .-'.".'•■• ''
Alfred Henry Lawrenco was remanded till Wednesday on charges of indecency.
