LADIES & GENTLEMEN.-I have the honour to.invite your support in my candidature for re-election to the Harbour Board. During the 10 years that I have held a seat on the Board it has been my constant endeavour to assist in making the Port of Wellington second to none on this side of the fine. Progress on sound principles and safe lines is the policy for me. I am a firm believer in equipping our Port with a Floating Dock as soon as practicable after the present War is over. The want of this accommodation is a serious handicap to Wellington at this time, and; we shall be placed at a disadvantage until it is supplied. My interests are bound up with Wellington, and no effort will be spared by me to keep the City and Port abreast of the times.; Hoping to receive at the Poll a renewal of the confidence you have reposed in me,—l remain, , • ■• Yours truly, WILLIAM CABLE. T7IRANK M'PARLAND is on no Ticket, J' despite all the cards circulated. HARBOUR BOARD ELECTION. TO THE ELECTORS OF WELLINGTON.
