Ou tho resumption of • the Supreme Court to-day, Mr. Mays, for tho Crown, applied that the hearing of the charge of perjury against Makarini and 'the retnal of the other case be adjourned till Thursday next, to allow him to communicate with the Attorney-Gen-eral. Mr. Lundou said he did not object. He stated that if the Makarini case was taken it would occupy fully a fortnight, as he intended going fully into it. ' . His Honour granted the application, but said the Crown would have to he ready by. Thursday.
