TURKS ROUTED ONCE MORE The High Commissioner reports:— London, April'2o, 0.40 p.m. A report from Mesopotamia states: On Tuesday night we forced the passage of the Shat-el-Adhaini (north of Bagdad), which was held by a "detachment of the 18th Turkish Army Corps. On Wednesday morning we. attacked their main position covering Isfeibulat Station, twelve miles south-east of Samara, on the tight hank of the Tigris. The operations were carried out with great vigour and dlasb, and resulted in the complete rout of the enemy.

On Thursday, General Maude reports; ,27 officers and 1217. men were captured, and more were coming in, and only the exhausted condition of our horses prevented tile capture ot the enemy's guns. Our casualties numbered only 73.
