NEW BUILDING IN AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press .Association. Auckland, April 14. His Excellency the Governor (Lord Liverpool) to-day kid the foundationstone of tho Children's Hospital, vwhieh is being erected by the Auckland Hobpital Board at a total cost (including equipment) of about £24,000. It is designed for sevonty beds, but there will be ample accommodation for a hundred cots. t In the course of a speech, the Minister of Public Health (Hon. G. W. Ruseell) stated that 7600 children were treated in the publio hospitals of the Dominion in 1915. '
