Messrs.' Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a, fair entry of both sheep and oattle at their Tadhape sale on' Wednesday, and, with the exception of one or two small lines of cattle, everything was disposed of at the following prices :—Sheep: Mixed lambs. Bs. Id., 10s., lis. 3d., 13a. 2d., to 155.; four to fiveyear ewes, 12s. 3d., 19s. 9d., to 225.; 24 two, four, and six-tooth ewes, 225. 11<I. to 255. Bd.; fat ewes, 275. 4d.; two-tooth wethers, 305.; one • six-tooth ram, 51gns. Cattle: Mixed weaners, £3 ss. to £3 19s. 6d.; vealers, £4 12s. 6d.; heifers, eighteenmonth, £6; cows, r.w.b., £7 Is.; fat cows, £11 10s.; twenty-month steers, £10 75.; one Jersey hull, £2. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd.. report having a fair yarding of both sheep and oattle at the Palmerston North yards on Thursday, almost everything.changing hands. The following are the nrices realised :-Sheep: Fat ewes, '28s. 7d.'; forward ewes, 24b.; inferior woolly lambs, 12s. 4d.; mixed woolly lambs, 18s. 7d. Oattle: Forward cows. £8 175.; two and a half-year speyed heifers, £7 175.; empty eiehteen months heifers, £5 4a.; twenty-months hel fers, In calf, £5 lZs to £6 55.; eighteenmonths steers, £6 155.; inferior two and a half-year steers, £9; bulls. £8 Is.
