AMATEUR ATHLETICS
The Victoria University College Amateur Athletic Club held a ■ short evening sports meeting on Kelburn Park, three .events: 100 yds. handicap, 440 yds.. handicap, and one mile handicap being decided. Following were the results: 100 yds. Handicap.— G. Lusk (4yds.), 1; N. Barker (scr.) and M'Lennan (4yds.), 2. Time, 10 3-ssec. 440 yds. Handicap .—Jackson (scr.), 1; M'Lennan (15yds.) ; 2. Time, 68 l-ssec. One Mile Handicap.—L. K. Wilson (20yds), 1; L. J. Edmondson (10yds.), 2. Time, smin. 7 l-ssec. Professors Hunter and Easterfield, Mr. Burbidge, Sergeant Stagpoole, and Mr. D. Leslio acted as judges, timekeepers, and starter respectively.
