A QUIET EASTER.
Easter 'this year is a little late for out-of-door fixturos of a < holiday character, and there is, owing to tho prevailing conditions,'very little in that direction for the'diversion of holidaymakers in Wellington. For those whose, tastes run to the turf there: is the Wairarapa~lkcing.- Club's meeting at Tauhorenikau to-day and on "Easter Monday, and there are races at Feilding on Monday and Tuesday.. The. trains for Tauherejrikaa leave the Lambton station at~6.40 and'B.3o this: morning, and dn Monday at- 6.35 a.m. and 8.30 a.m.

The big theatrical attraction for the Easter soason will be_tho Williamson Comedy, Company, which will g'ive its first, performance of the tour at the Grand Opera House tliis evening, when George M. Cohan's delightful .comedy;"The Seven Keys to Baldpato," will .be presented for the first-time in New Zealand.
Special . holiday vaudeville programmes have been arranged by tho Fuller management at His-Majesty's Theatre. There will be a matinee performance this afternoon.
