Correspondence for all neutral countries is subjeot to censorship. Parcels for dispatch by steamers end trains, with "the eicoption of the . usual ferry Eteamers for southern offices, cloEe at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour beforo the advertised times of closing of mails. The parcel post mail per Main Trunk express closes at the 0.P.0. at 11.39 a.m., and for the south per ferry steamer at 5.45 p.m. The advertised times lor closing mails by steamers are liable to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment. Easter Holidays.—On Good Friday, April 6, the Postal Department will be closed in all its branches. Malls for dispatch by Bteomer6 Y)i]l close at i p.m. on the previous evening, and the only dispatches of correspondence - by trains will close on Good Friday as follows:—For the Wairarapa, Hawke's Bay, Ma.ne.watu, Kangitikei, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts at 5.45 a.m.; for Auckland and Auckland district at B a.m. The city and suburban receivers will not, be cleared during the day. but the midnight clearances will be made as usual. There will not he any deliveries by letter-oarriers on Good Friday, but on Thursday, April 5, the Carriers' Department (upstairs from .Featherston Street!' will be open for the delivery of correspondence addressed to streets in the oity ana suburbs from Bto 9 p.m.; also the public oounter for the delivery of correspondence addressed Chief Post Office, and--the paroels delivery counter will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. . , ,On lEaster Monday, April 9, the Chief Post .Office will be open in all its branches (eiccpt Money Order and Savings Bank) from 9 to 10.a.m. Mails for dispatch.by> stea-mere will close at ,8 a.m., -and .the only dispatches of correspondence 'by trains will- close as ' follows For; . the Wairarapa, 'Hawke's:.
