SIR JAMBS ALLEN/S TRIBUTE TO PUBLIC EFFORT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Ghristchurch, March 29. Sir James Allen, Acting-Prime Minister, in an interview, said he was gratified at the loyalty of the people of the Dominion and the manner in which they had faced the tasks caused hy the war. He paid a tribute to the National Efficiency Board members. The new Financial Assistance Board would probably begin' its work in a week's time.
