nVE MEN HEAVILY- FINED! By Telegraph—Press Association. Whangarel, March 27. i Mr. Burton, S.M., gave reserved judgment to-day in a number of antitreating cases heard at Whangarei a fortnight ago. Fernand Felix, licensee of the Kamo Hotel, on two charges •was fined respectively £50 and £25. Four others.charged in tlie samo connection—Thomas M'Grevy, 'William Lilley, Ellis Dyei , , and Everard Lam-bert—-were each fined £30. Costs were riven against defendants iu all tho cases. ' Charges -against a jrroup of tlireo others —William Simons, manager of the Whangarei Hotel. Leonard Irvine, and Christopher Irvine—were all dismissed.
