THAT EVER VISITED WELLINGTON. In reply to "Inquirer," it is stated that the largest vessel which ever entered Wellington harbour wastiie White Star liner Ceramic, a triple-screw steelbuilt, four-masted steamship of 18,481 (gross) tons register. This lino vessel was built at Belfast bv Harland and WalfT in 1913 for the Oceanic Steamship Company. She is 655 ft. lin. in length, and 69ft. 4in. in breadth, and has a depth of 43ft. Sin. At present tile Ceramic is commanded by Captain Symonds. who is an old servant of the AVhite Star Line, and well known in New Zealand. Captain Symonds succeeded Mr. Preen as mate of the Gothic in the New Zealand trade, and later was master of the. Delphic, in succossion to Captain Breen.
