Russell visited the this afternoon, and conferred: with the Hospital Board concerning ■the recent flood damage. An estimate was submitted that it would cost £16,000 to restore the hospital to its former state. The Minister went fully into the inattpr, and promised favourable consideration. Mr. Russell later met a deputation of fishermen, and explained. to thorn how to cheapen lie cost of fish to the public whilo increasing it to the fishermen.
