Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Palmerston North, report having a good entry of both sheep and cattle at their Palmerstorii North sale on ' Thursday. There was a. very fair demand for sheep, but a number of pens of cattle failed to reach vendors.' reserves. Quotations:— Sheep: aged cull ; owes. 7s. 6d„ Bs. Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report:—We held our annual cattle sale at Taihape on Monday, when some 1500 lead of cattle came" forward. Buyers •were present in good numbers, and ell agreed that it was oho of the best *yardlngs of cattle yet. seen in Taihape We were successful in quitting practically all lots offered at very satisfactory prices.
