Farrcl's (Nationalist) amendment to exclude Ireland from the National Serrico Bill was defeated by Idß votes to 7fi Mr. 11. Hazloton (Nationalist) moved that there he a separate Director-Gen-eral of National Service for Ireland. Mr. Duke (Chief Secretary for Ireland) said thab Mr. Neville Chamborlain (Director of National Service) had agreed to delegate' this work to a representative who would be entitled to the technical status of representative Director of National Service in Ire-land.—Aus-.N.Z.
