Molbourne. ifarch 7. , In tho Federal House of Representatives, Mr. Joseph Cook (Minister for the Is.ivy) officially contradicted a report that was circulated last night regarding tho sinking of two Australian troopships.
Replying i'o certain questions ia the House, he said that jioilher had the troopships nor lives been lost. More could not now- bo said, bub the daugers to Australia in connection with tho war were not; less than they were.—Press Assn.'
