SOUTHERLY WEATHER
A spell of southerly weather—fresh, clear, winds, with a bite in their breatii —is at present the lot of Wellington and the surrounding district. The country generally has experienced fair, to cloudy weather, with moderate to strong easterly winds predominating. Present indications, states the official' forecast, arc for moderate to strong, easterly winds, backing to the north' in the northern districts, and freshening uortherlies elsewhere. Increasing haze and cloudiness aro to bo expected,' with a general fall in the barometer soon.
