HOSPITAL SHIP
DUE IN WELLINGTON TO-DAY
The hospital ship, which reached Auckland on Sunday with a full complement of returned invalided soldiers, is expected to reach Wellington before noon to-day. She may not come alongside until the afternoon, since a Medical Board will have to deal with some of the men. The ship is bringing 141 officers and men for the Wellington district, including 4 officers and 52 other ranks for Group 5 (Wellington Gity and Suburbs). The men will be welcomed at the wharf by the Mayor of Wellington, and fruit and other refreshments will be provided for them by the Mayoress and her assistants. "The ship has been away from New Zealand slightly less than four months. She left Wellington on November 1.2 last, and reached Southampton on December 31 with sick and wounded men picked up at two ports en rotuc. Then she embarked men from the New Zealand hospitals in the United Kingdom, and started on her return voyage.
