ST. DAVID'S DAY
' A representative gathering of the Wellington Welsh folk met at the Shetland Booms to celebrate tho anniversary of their patron saint, David. Mr. ■J. Tucker composed some poems in Welsh and English in reference to t!ie part Wales a,iitl 1-er sons are at present playing in tho world's conflict. Mesdamcs Lewis, Hatton, and Wood L ward, together with Messrs. Jenkins, Tucker, and Watkin, were the artists of the evening. Mr. R. M. Griffiths, the president, occupied the eliair.
