FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT. By Telegraph—Press AssociatHm. Blenheim, February 27., Thomas Johnson May, aged 67 3 a builder and an old resident of the district, mot with a trap accident, to-day, and died two hours later.

MAN KILLED AT THE SUMMIT/ ; Simpson A. Auld, a surfaceman in' the employ of tho Railway. Department, married and with throe children, was accidentally killed at the Summit by being rim over by a train. Tha facts as gathered from the police arc' that Auld on returning from his work last evening alighted from the train which stopped close to his houso. There was a goods train at the station also, that was being shunted, and just as Auld crossed the line the goods tram backed out on tho shunt, the unfortunate- man was knocked down and 15 trucks passed over him. The body was brought into the city, • and is now ra tho morgue. An inquest will be held..
