Erskine, vice-president (on behalf of the president, Mr. Wm. Berry), said that this was the thirteenth year the fixture had been played, and. there were those who had been anxious about the result, but it was all right. The old club had again 'won with a comfortable margin of points. A special afternoon tea was provided.

THORNDON CLUB. On Saturday afternoon the final game of the Club Champion Pairs was played oft between Hatch and Conlin (s.), and TJpham and Thomson (s.), the result ending in a win for TJpham and Thomson.
