WHARF LABOUR DISPUTE

DOMINION CONFERENCE TO BE HELD. The Conciliation Council set up to investigate the demand filed by the employers for a renewal of the existing agreement governing wharf labour adjourned on Saturday morning. The parties had then agreed to hold a, Dominion Conference, representative of either side, to investigate the dispute fully. 'Aftor this conference has been held the conciliation counoils in the several affected districts -will meet to deal with,the cases in accordance with the procedure as defined in the Arbitration Act. Meantime the Welling-, ton Conciliation Council stands adjourned sine die.-
