I DISLIKED BY LABOUR POLITIC£®. , , In the Federal Senate last week, during the debate on the Supply Bill, Senator Turley strongly condemned Captain Bean, the official reporter \yitS the Australian Forces at the front, for making a statement in a rccont letter (published in The Dominion at tho time), to the effect that the "snow and biting winds in Franco were not so bitter as the thought amongst the men that politicians in Australia cannot ; smk party differences to enable Australia to put her individual views bofore the Imperial Conference." Captain Bean, said the Senator, was paid to give a report of the military work, and not to express opinions for or against the Government of' Australia. Senator Be Largie: "He expressed the opinion of the men at tbe front, anyway." _ v
