Yesterday a friendly match was played on the Thorndon ereen against Wellington, with the following resultj:—Thorndon: Murdoch, Freeman, Boss, Conlin (s.), 20; Wellington: Stace," Veitch, Hall, Bush (e.), IC. Thorndon: Dumbell, Stanford, Hatch, Wilson (s.), 28; Wellington: O'Sullivan, Yarrnll, White, Moult (s.), 15.
