ROUGH WEATHER IN THE NORTH
Though yesterday ill Wellington was a perfect .day, with a light southerly breeze veering to the south, the people in .the north have had anything but a pleasant time of it with south-easterly gales, and gloomy and squally weather. Present indications, states the official prediction, are for a continuation of the boisterous weather in the north, but elsewhere people will be better served with moderate to strong easterlies and fair weather. The barometer has a, falling tendency in the south.
