The American Meat Trust insinuated itself into the* proceedings of the third Wellington Military Servico Hoard yesterday. ' ■ Tho military representative was making somo observation about.New Zealand meat companies making large profits in these war days. Mr. M. J. Reardon (the secretary of the Slaughtermen's Union) said that as a matter of fact most of the profits now went to tho American Meat Trust. Mr. A. O'Ti. Considine: Do you really think the Meat Trust is here? • Mr. Boardon: I don't think anyone connected with the industry lms any' doubt about it. ' * ■
