ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY
The members of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society met in tlie Chamber of/Commerce, last evening to discuss and adopt new rules. Mr. L.;O. H. Tripp was in the chair. According Ito Rule 4 the area to be controlled by tlie society comprises the counties of Hutt, Makara, Masterton, Featherston, Castlepoint, Wairarapa, South, Pnhiatua, Eketaliuna, ' Mauriceville. Akitio, Horowlienua, Ivairanga, and Bangitikei, and parts of the counties | of Manawatu. Oroua, and Kiwi tea, together with the City of 'Wellington, the boroughs of Miramar, Karori, Onslow. Petone, Lower Hutt, Eastbourne, Foxton, Masterton, Greytown, Carterton, Pahiatua, Eketaliuna, Levin, Palmerston North, Marton. and'the Featherston, Hunterville, Johnsonville, Mar'tinborough, Upper Hutt. Mang3we,;a, and Otaki Town Districts. .
