February 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 11. Mr. Ward Price (tho British Press correspondent at Salonika) reports "The Provisional (Venezelist) Government has received information that the Kaiser has sent a significant message to Kiiig Constantino telling him that ho cannot co-operato and come to King Constantino's aid against the Allies in Macedonia.' The message concludes: All I ask of you now is that you shall keep your throne."Mr. Ward Price continues: "This message sounds.like the dirge to Germany's schemes, which' undoubtedly were active a few weeks ago for making an attempt at co-operation with tho Greeks and' clear the Balkans of the Allies. It also explains the facility with which King Constantine was sending troops to Peloponnesus. It is evident that Germany ' contemplates intriguing with Greece after the war.in the belief 'that tho latter's long indented coast lino position at tho very gates of Egypt may be of immense strategic value. It will be the business of the Vonezelists to counter any such plans." —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
