SOLWAY SHOW
The annual sliow of the'Masterton A. and P. Association is to be held on the beautiful sliowgromids at Solway on February 20 and 21. Special trophies will be awarded in the Southdown classes. These trophies include the Glenside silver cup, valued at 15 guineas, presented by Mr.' J. .Strang for the champion Southdown ram, Mr. J. Stuckey's prize of £10 for the best Sout'lulown ram unflei l 21 months, ancl the New' Zealand Sheepbreeders' Association's gold medal for the champion ram, as well as the Masterton A. and P. Association's gold medal for the champion ram, and silver medal for the c'hapipion ewe. The other purebred sheep sections—Lincolns, English Leicester.*, Border Leicester.?, and Shropshires—have also received, careful,, attention at the hands of the associating
valuable gold medals being awarded in the championships. Late entries for the show will closo with the secretary (Mr. .T. ■ B. Emmett, Box 40, Masterton) at 9 o'clock to-night on th'o payment of one shilling per entry late fee. The annual ram and ewe failwill be held at Sol way on February 22 and 23.
