The. pictures! mako a direct appeal to their imagina-'. ■tion. and rivet their attention on tho subject being dealt' with, making tho task' of explaining 'and understanding; a very simple one.., On account of ths cost involved, such a system is hardlypossible in:."Wellington at present, but it is thought that the public theatres might include more educative picture?* in their programmes is oustomnr.v, and even study public interest sufficiently to submit whole, programmed suitable for children.'
