CONFERENCE AT PALMERSTON NORTH. The long-promised hydro-electrics , Bchome for the Wellington district i 3 creating considerable interest at the present time. Following the lead ofthe Wellington City Council, the Pal-; merston North Chamber of Commerce has notified the Wellington Chamber of Commerce that it is arranging a conference of local bodies between Otaki aiid Marton, to bo held at the Council Chamber, PalnierstonxVorth, on Thursday, February 22, at 2.30 p.m., and. invited the chamber to send a delegate.!
