On December 2,' at St. Giles's Church, Cambridge, England, the Eev. Charles Palmer, vicar of Shannon, New Zealand, was married to Miss Geraldine Selwyn, youngest daughter of the late Bishop Selwyn, of Melanesia, and of Mrs. Selwyn, of Overbrook, Cambridge. The ceremony, which was coral, was performed by the Rev. S. J. Selwyn, brother of the bride, assisted bytheEev. Ernest Mort, uncle of _ the bride. Mr. W. Spens led the bride into the church, and she was given away by her mother. The Eey. L.- S. Kempthome, domestic chaplain to the Bishop of Leithfield, and late of' Nelson, , New Zealand, was beist man. The bridal dress was of cream satin draped with Chantilly lace, and' Brussels net pannier and a veil of the net was worn over a. wreath of orange blossoms. After the ceremony Mrs. Selwyn entertained a few friends at a miiet reception, and later thebride and bridegroom left for Yorkshire on their honeymoon. The Eev. and Mrs. Palmer will leave for New Zealand about the end of the present month.
