The quality of the Jerseys, fat sheep, and! pigs called forth special comment from the judges ihe principal results were:— Leaping-Competition.— Boy's pony R. Scott, 1; W. Baker, 2. Girl's ■ W Baker, 1; W. Scott, 2. . . Maiden Leaping.—R. Scott, 1; D Anderson,'' 2. Hunting Style—H. Ha-ssall, 1; J. Bryce, 2. The winner secured Mr. Bachelor's cup, having been successful two years in succession. Motor Cycle Handicap. Five miles. —J. Dawber, 1; J. Spooner, 2. Timo, 7min. lOsec. > Ton-mile Motor Cycle Handicap — P. Coleman, 1; R, Jones, 2. Time, 9min'. 37sec. Hack Classes.—W.. Booth, champion cup, I.' Cattle.—Jersey bull, E. Harding; champion cow, J. Howat; champion ; Shorthorns, 0. and S. Morgan. Champion Milking Competition.—R. Smith, 1. Points Prize, Sheep, Crossbred and Fat.—Gaisford Estate. Berkshire Pigs.—Mrs. Wall, champion. Yorkshire.—F. Fitzpatrick, champlw.. As a result of the caterinc;, which was in tho hands of a committee of looal ladies, over £200 was realised for the patriotic funds.
