Anstralasia is unsuitable, because Australia is becoming too stroig and would menace tho German colonies He advocates a colony consisting of a vast portion of French and' Belgian Congo, Kaiochan, New Guinea, the Australasian islands, and Togoland should_ bo exchanged for British East Africa, Uganda, Northern Rhodesia, and Nyassaland. Such a colonial Empire would be easily defended! from tho sea, would be worthy of Germany's enterprising spirit, and would yield all the raw material required.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
