Freshening southerlies sro prodicted for this region and in tho south, with a continuance of warm and hazy conditions, and increasing cloudiness preceding a general change. The- barometer has a falling tendency.

The heat has been general. A Press Association message from Gore states that yesterday, with a maximum temperature of 92 degrees, was the record hot' day in Gore for upwards of seven yoars. Warm and hazy conditions have ruled and are likely to continue for a while, with unsettled weather and a change following. Moderate to strong northerly, prevailing and increasing, is the forecast as far as the winds are concerned.
