HOROWHENUA SHOW
Entries for the Horotvlienua Show, which is to bo held 011 the racecourse, Levin, on Wednesday next, January 31, have come ..in remarkably well) and should tho weather continue fine, this show points to being the most successful yet held by the association. The entries in the various sections are as follow: —Competitions and horßes, 210; dairy cattle, 70; purebred cattle, 70; fat cattle, 13.' Sheep: Fats and farmers' classes, 72; purebreds, 81. Judging from the quality of the entries in the purebred cattle section the class of stock entered is far, ahead of anything yet seen at the Borowhenua Show. There will be the usual side attractions, also, a sweet stall under the management of tho ladies of the Lovin Patriotic Society, who are; running it for the benefit of the association. The demand for the famous Victor Cheese Vats still continues, 'and • orders are being executed in rotation. Mr. Factory Manager, you .should certainly get details ,of the Victor sloping bottom, middle drainage Vat—the Victor means bigger output and laij;er dividends, write or call. A. J.
