PAHIATUA SHOW
The eighth annual show of tho hiatu:j-Akitio Agricultural ami PasJtoral Association, to bo lield on Friday, February 9 next, is attracting considerable interest. Challenge cups in addition to tho cash prizes have been allocated for the following classes: —Maiden hunters' competition, open hunters' competition, lady is hack, dairy cow, two yearling,dairy" heifers, mos't points dairy cattle section, Komiiey Marsh i (most points), Lincolus (most points), fat lambs (most points), freezing classes (most points), farmers' utility I class, sheep (most points), most points in all tho sheep classes, most points in all tho horse classes, and a cup for the exhibitor gaining tho most points during the show. The annual Ham Fair will be held on the day following the show. Entries for the show and Ram Fair closo with the secretary (Mr. J. A. Walsh) on Wednesday next, January 31. Prize schedules and all information promptly supplied on application to the secretary.
