Mr. Bourohier, "The Times'" correspondent at Jassy, states that the bombardment of Galatz was nullified by the Russo-Rumauian flotilla on the Danube bombarding the German positions as far as Braila. The Germans have arrested a number of leading Bucharest citizens, retaining them as hostages. M. Taku Jonescu's house has been plundered and burned. —"The' Times."' BULGARIAN ADVANCE London, January 23. 'A' Gorman official message states: "We Tepulsed strong advances southwards of the Casinu.
