By Telegraph-Pres" A esociat.ion-OoDyrirfit Sydney, January 17.' Official forecasts of the harvest in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and West Australia aggregate 140,099,022 bushels. DANNEVIRKE A. AND P. SHOW. For'tho Dannevirko Show fixture, entries for which close on January 31, numerous inquiries havo been received from all quarters of the North Island. A feature included in the schedule for the first time this year is a class for school children for the best collection of grasses—not less than six heads of each variety, and each variety to bo named. This is open to school children in any district, and those who intend competing and havo not already gathered their seed heads should delay no longer, as the time for satisfactorily doing so is fast departing. Schedules of prizes can bo obtained on application to the secretary, Mr. F. C. Stubbs, Ward Street, Dannevirk.

Intending exhibitors aro again reminded that entries for the Feildiny A. and P. Show ".lose on Friday, l.Otb instant. The prize list is a very attractive one, fairly bristling with big prize money and handsomo trophies, a large number to be won outright, whilst the entry fees are fixed on a very Jow basis. Those who are interested in show matters should communicate with the secretary, who will be pleased to forward a prize list on application.

Mr. W. R. Wright, director of the Tararmki Farmers' Meat Company/ writes: —"Referring to a recent paragraph stating that £18 had been paid for fat bullocks, tho Taranaki Fanners' Meat Company has just purchased 52 bullocks from the D. Hughes's estate at £22, and another 40 from Mr. Fleming at £22 ss. Tho highest price at Aldington for one specially finished bullock was £21 7s. 6d."

The demand for tho famous Victor Cheese Vats still continues, and orders aro being executed in rotation.
