ESCAPEES FROM! STOKE INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL. . By Telegraph—Press Association. '■ Blenheim, January 9. Two boys, named John Andrew JL'William ancT Henry Joseph Allport, who escaped from Stoke Industrial School on December 21 and worked their' way through to Picton, where they ■were captured at a picture theatre on Christmas Night, appeared at the Magistrate's Court to-day to answer ciiarges of breaking and entering and theft, the alleged offences being committed en route to Picton. The table in Court was littered witli stolen property—rifles, watches, field glasses, clothes, etc. The total value of the articles mentioned in the charges exceeded £86. Both the accused pleaded guilty, and wore committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
