The "Kolnische Volkszeitung" reports from North Palestine that the Turkish Government two months ago handed over to the Germans the famous monastery on Mount Carmel, which, as it was under French protection, was seized by the Turks. The monastery is now occupied by German Carmelite monks. The administration of the Nazareth Hospital of the Austrian Brothers of Charity, which was also under French protection, has noiv been reinstated.
