The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that they held a sale of dairy stock on account of Mr. Wm. Baker, at his farm, Te Horo, on Friday, There was a fair attendance ef buyers, and a satisfactory sale resulted. Tho herd averaged £10 145., the best prices being £11 55., £12, £12 10s., £15 10s. to £16 10s.18-months grade Holetein bull, £10; springing heifers, £10 to £12 7s. 6d.; heifers in calf, £7' 155.; light harness gelding, £16; aged hack, £3.
