SEMPLE APPEALING

The necessary steps have been taken to lodge an appeal on points of law against the three convictions against Kobert Seinple for seditious utterances. In connection with F. R. Cooko's appeal against his conviction for sedition, Mr. G. Hutchison, who is appearing for Cooke, was informed at the Christchurch S.M.- Court yesterday that Mr. Bishop, S.M., would do ail that the law required him to do. Mr. Hutchison handed in a written application to the Magistrate to stato. and sign a case for the Supremo Court.— Press. Association.' ' i
