Menelaus had the better of Chakwana over fivo furlongs, run in lmin. 7 3-ssec. Tote-a-teto did five furlongs in lmin. 3 2-ssec. ' Marc Anthony was in front of San Sebastian at the end of seven furlongs, the last six run in lmin. 21 2-ssec. Desert Gold did six furlongs in lmin. 18sec. Tatterley beat Downham over tho samo distanco in lmin. 18 -3-ssec. Bjorneborg was in front of Egypt at the end of seven furlongs iu lmin. 31 5- ssec. Blackall did, a mile and a half, with Llanishen assisting in the last six furlongs, the round taking 2min. 2sec.
