As _a result' of tho construction of a loop line,-the gap in the Main Trunk line has been closed, and there is now no necessity for passengers to translor irom one tram to another. Tho work, of dealing the Karaka cutting, where the slip occurred, will probably otttupy some weeks, but the time-table will be adhered to by means of the loop line. '
